The display of goods on the wolvertonrail.co.uk web site amounts to an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to sell goods at any price indicated. Our web site shows availability of titles from suppliers (to the best of our current knowledge) and not that a particular title is physically in stock or has ever been in stock. We do keep stock of popular titles from mainstream publishers with others to order from their publishers or wholesalers (our "suppliers"). The web site content is continually changing as titles/publishers are added/deleted and is based on trade lists provided by our suppliers. It is possible for a video title to appear on our web site and for that title to have been deleted by the supplier without us ever having sold a copy or for a copy to have been obtained from our suppliers. We do not make unlawful copies of videos or dvds. Unless shown otherwise all titles are new and not secondhand. NOTE: Prices shown are for guide only. The actual price charged is that prevailing on the day we ship your order. Usually this *is* the same price as shown but occasionally suppliers change prices without telling us until we receive fresh stock! Remember prices can go down as well as up :-)

LEGAL BIT: When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice or a sales receipt. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.

We accept VISA and MASTERCARD credit/debit card payment using our SECURE ONLINE SYSTEM. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Alternatively, you can send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or by email (at your own risk) over the Internet. We also accept cheques. Please make your cheque payable to "Wolverton Rail". Cheques must be in UK Sterling (pounds) and drawn on a UK bank account.

If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR VIDEOS ARE UK PAL FORMAT ONLY. WE CAN ONLY OBTAIN A FEW VIDEOS IN NTSC FORMAT (North America, Japan) and these are listed on our main web site. Most of our North American customers either have a multi-standard video player or they get the tapes converted locally.

OVERSEAS: European video orders: £2.50 postage per dvd/video, Rest of the World video orders: £3.50 per dvd/video.

We will not send goods to certain countries unless they are sent by "signed-for" recorded delivery. The extra cost is charged to the customer at cost to us. By ordering from us, you agree to this charge if we believe you live in a country where this is necessary. Examples include Greece, African countries, some Middle-East countries, Russia and South American countries. Note that our shopping cart system does not automatically add this charge because we do not know the charge until we actually take it to the Post Office!

All videos are sent by Air Mail and are VAT free for countries outside of the European Union (EU).

For example, the postage & packing for two videos to Australia would cost £7.

NOTE: we do not supply videos post free unless we are running a special offer and the customer quotes that special offer number in their order.

If you do return titles then please do so by second class post and within 7 days after delivery. If you return them by first class post or otherwise that is your responsibility! <smile>. We will only refund second class postage costs (usually with stamps) if requested and only from the original delivery address. For example if you buy a video as a present for a friend who lives elsewhere (including overseas) and the video is delivered to you then it is unreasonable to expect me to refund the postage costs of your friend sending it back to you and then you sending it back to me. Or the cost of your friend sending it back to me direct. I will only refund the postage cost of you sending the video back from your address.
